Introduction to Brimlad Brimlad400

Brimlad

Brimlad is a Nation of deserts and wastelands, of warriors living in the shadow of ancient cities long since abandoned and crumbling into dust, of regular people just trying to survive in cities that somehow manage to thrive in a Nation still recovering from the stigma of having been slavers not so many generations past.

There are several nomad tribes, of mixed ancestry and some of pure Auren bloodlines, wandering through the deserts with their camels and their horses, as well as some groups that keep a questionable peace in the still-thriving cities.

Sometimes adventurers from other Nations come here to unearth the buried secrets of the lost cities, the ruins that rise above the deserts and the scrublands that were once the centers of magical learning in all of Artegal, long before the rise of Glaisne and the Mages in Hightower.

The Crystal of Brimlad sits in a special courtyard in what was the Royal Palace at Chigaru-Issa. Many centuries ago, though, the city was abandoned in a coup following the assassination of the Royal Family. Since then, the Keepers have maintained their homes elsewhere, but all returned to Chigaru-Issa to visit the Crystal and maintain their link to its magic.
