Introduction to Fiacre
Fiacre
Fiacre is one huge forest from coast to coast to coast. The largest trees, both in girth and in height, in all of Artegal are here, but no woodcutters would dare profane them because they are the living trees that support the cities.
The living trees of Fiacre are found in a few areas and are generally located close to others of their kind. A lone living tree just isn't going to happen. They grew up together; they stand together; and they bend and shape themselves together to aid and support the people who live in harmony with them. The oldest of these living trees is the location where Fiacre's Crystal stands. Simply called The Eldest Tree, the city has survived every cataclysm that nature and man have tried to throw at it.
A predominantly Moogle city, located in a stand of living trees which they call Mog, is home to a group of magical tinkerers. They differ from the gadgeteers of Glaisne in that they work with predominantly low level items, adding wings or helicopter blades to a bicycle for example, rather than the ornate awe-inspiring magitek constructions that Glaisne favors. They also love to build magitek toys for children, something that Glaisne gadgeteers look down on as being unworthy of their attention.
In the forest of Fiacre there are also some wandering tribes of warriors who have managed to tame some of the beasts which roam. Some adventurers seek Fiacre's shores to hunt the incredible game that calls the land home, while others come here to seek learning from the Trees and from the wanderers.
The Trees know, though, that patience can win out in the end.

Re: Introduction to Fiacre
At the current time the Keeper is an NPC living in the Eldest Tree. The position will be opened for Player Request when the current Storyline reaches conclusion.
Sorry it's taking so long.

That's okay, I was just wondering who it would be so I could feature them in my storyline. "Ask permission" or something like that. ^^

Re: Introduction to Fiacre
I haven't actually settled the personality of the current Keeper of Fiacre in my head yet. I'll see what I can come up with, but most NPCs like that would be Admin-handled, kinda like the unnamed Keeper of Ula-Ronat was. I had a brief thought at one point that Fiacre's Keeper would be one of those older, massively wise men. Kinda like Belgarath or Gandalf or something.
I guess I'll try to get the current Keepers settled in my head so I can at least get them up for NPC use.
