Assassin's kit Empty Assassin's kit

Weapon
Name: Assassin's kit

Type: Various ranged

Range: Long

Description: A set of various ranged weaponry, the basic weapons of a shinobi.

Shuriken- Compact metallic throwing stars, about 2.5 inches from tip to tip. Four pointed, small, fast, and accurate. A shinobi's favorite weapon.

Kunai- A short, simple dagger-like weapon. A simple cylindrical handle, with a ring set into the pommel, and a spadelike blade. Slightly slower, but more damaging than, a shuriken.

Fuuma shuriken- A collapsible, gigantic shuriken, with four curved blades centered around a ring. Each blade is just over a foot long, made of lightweight steel. Slower than a kunai, but has great momentum and force behind it.

Wire- Two spools of thin, superconductive, nearly invisible wire, extremely strong. The spools are tucked behind Nattsu's shoulder blades and with five separate strands leading from each spool, wrapped around each wrist. Used for setting up traps and controlling the direction of thrown weapons.

Element: N/A

Effects: N/A

History: A shinobi's weapons are his life, and Nattsu is no different. He received his first weapon set at six years old, and drilled in their use every day. Repaired and replaced throughout the years, every piece of this kit has a story behind it, some singularly bloody bit of wetwork. Nattsu has consistently gone without food to pay the necessary cost of replacing or repairing these, and has a small sort of attachment to them, as a child does with a favorite toy.

Alright, I've put the kibosh on Weapon Sets before.

But, Leia's the boss on it.

Otherwise, the weapons on their own don't look bad.

(Can the wire be used like how modern assassins might use piano wire?)

Under most circumstances, Masurao, I'd agree with you that weapon kits are twitchy in the extreme, but seeing as these have no enchantments to them and are completely mundane in nature, I'm allowing it.

Now, carry on with the questions of usage.

Piano wire, notsomuch. Used more as, say, a trip wire, or to set up a deadfall trap. Nasty little surprises for the unwary or the incautious. Think really hard to see, really strong fishing line. Could, I suppose, be used to garrote someone, but would take a hell of a lot of force. But at that sort of speed, blundering into anything would be near fatal.

Hm...

Okay, how many of each do you carry at a time? Can you call back things you have thrown, or do you have to fetch them?

And, what happens if you run out?

50 shuriken, 20 kunai, 10 fuuma shuriken, and 10 spools of wire, each holding 200 feet each. Preparation is a ninja's strongest weapon, after all.

No, they cannot be called back unless I decide to make a spell to recall them, and have no such plans as of now. Too much of a waste for what I have in mind.

If I run out, I either have to retrieve them from the surrounding area or go without. Restocked between each thread off screen.

Okay. Put those totals up in the template, please.

...How are you carrying all of these? Windmill Shuriken are some big ol' suckers.
